Get ready, Southwest Virginia—Wawa is finally coming our way. The cult-favorite convenience store and gas station chain is expanding westward, with its first locations breaking ground today.

Wawa is one step closer to coming to our region.

The popular convenience store and gas station chain Wawa announced that it would be hosting a Community Partnership Event to officially introduce itself to the Roanoke Community and share more details about its first wave of “Westward Virginia Expansion” on Tuesday, April 1.

Wawa is officially on its way to Lynchburg.

Wawa was approved by the Botetourt County Board of Supervisors despite a lack of recommendation from the planning commission.

The fate of a popular convenience store expanding to the Daleville Town Center remains unknown following a Botetourt County Board of Supervisors meeting.

The Board of Supervisors will have the ultimate decision on whether the chain expands to Daleville.

Plans are proposed to bring Wawa to the Daleville Town Center.
