Pulaski, Va. โ While coronavirus cases are declining in the New River Valley, Pulaski County Public Schools wants to extend their school return plan to in-person learning all week.
More than 90,000 people are eligible for the vaccine in the New River Valley, but the health district is only receiving about 2,000 vaccines a week.
While new coronavirus variants have not made their way to the New River Valley area yet, Bissell said people still need to watch out.
AdBut now with Pulaski County Public Schools releasing a plan to start in-person learning five days a week in mid-March, Dr. Bissell said itโs not too late in the school year to start the transition.
