Expo highlighting minority-owned businesses in Lynchburg

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The African American Affinity Group is hosting the minority business expo, “Building Communities Through Partnerships, on February 28th.

The expo will highlight minority-owned businesses with items for sale and networking opportunities.

The goal is to support the community by keeping money circulating locally.

“When you buy here, buy local, your money stays here and revolves here. If you spend your money on Amazon, you don’t see it, but you’re spending your money here in Lynchburg. It stays here. And help us grow, help the community grow. And it’s better for everyone.”

This year, 20 vendors are already signed up, and organizers expect over one hundred visitors.

Admission is free, with refreshments and a DJ.
