Lynchburg City School Board seeking community feedback for next superintendent

LYNCHBURG, Va. – A search for Lynchburg City School’s next superintendent is underway, and the school board wants to hear input from community members.

Next week, there will be a series of feedback sessions, offering those in the Hill City the opportunity to share their thoughts on the qualities, attributes and characteristics they are seeking in the next superintendent.

Here’s when and where the community meetings will take place:

  • Monday, Feb. 3 | 6:15-7:30 p.m. -  Heritage High School (forum) - 3101 Wards Ferry Road, Lynchburg, VA 24502
  • Tuesday, Feb. 4 | 7-8:30 p.m. - E. C. Glass High School (cafeteria) - 2111 Memorial Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24501
  • Wednesday, Feb. 5 | 6-7:30 p.m. - Sandusky Middle School (cafeteria) - 805 Chinook Place, Lynchburg, VA 24502

The superintendent is slated to start on or before July 1.
