With winter weather just hitting our area and even more expected in the coming days, that means for emergency crews and folks working at the hospitals, it’s all hands-on deck.
As hospitals prepare to weather another storm, The Blood Connection has made an urgent all call for people to donate blood. They said with the holidays and weather, donations have been low heading into another storm.

“Right now, we have 2 to 3 days of inventory, but we really need to be 5 to 7 days of inventory,” said Elliott Kelley with The Blood Connection
