South Boston Police looking for grocery theft suspects

SOUTH BOSTON, Va. – The South Boston Police Department is looking for three people suspected of stealing over $1,000 in groceries at a local Food Lion.

The incident happened on December 28th just after 2:00 P.M. at the Food Lion on Bill Tuck Highway.

The three unidentified male suspects fled the scene with several carts of food, and took one of the carts with them. Food Lion employees attempted to stop the theft, but were unsuccessful.

The suspects are thought to be driving a black Ford Focus and 2003 gold Honda Odyssey, both with North Carolina plates reading “RJS-3440″. It is believed they headed southbound.
