ROANOKE, Va. – A family was displaced following a fire in Southwest Roanoke on Saturday night, Roanoke Fire-EMS said.
Roanoke Fire-EMS said they responded to reports of a structure fire on 22nd Street around 8:55 p.m. on Saturday. Upon arrival, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the residence. Crews stated they had the fire under control by 9:55 p.m.

Authorities said that while no injuries were reported, a family was displaced due to the fire. The Red Cross is currently assisting them in their time of need.
