DANVILLE, Va. – The long-awaited Caesars Virginia casino in Danville will be opening its doors a little later than expected. The casino resort was initially set to open on Dec. 12 but will now open on Tuesday, Dec. 17, at noon. A reason was not provided for the delay.
The excitement will kick off at 10:15 a.m., with a parade of race cars and supercars that will weave through Danville’s streets, starting at the corner of Main and Craghead Street and ending at Caesars Virginia. Dennis Rodman, a five-time NBA champion and the league’s ‘best rebounding forward in NBA history,’ will serve as the parade’s emcee. He is also set to make the ceremonial first bet in Caesars Sportsbook.
