VSP investigating single-vehicle crash that killed 45-year-old man in Bedford County Sunday

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. – Virginia State Police is currently investigating a single-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of a 45-year-old man Sunday, according to VSP.

The crash occurred at 5:35 p.m. on Rocky Ford Road, two tenths of a mile east of Thaxton Mountain Road in Bedford County, we’re told.

A 2016 Jeep Wrangler was traveling west on Rocky Ford Road, when the Wrangler ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree, ejecting the driver, VSP said.

The driver of the Jeep has been identified as Adam Terrell of Goodview. We’re told Terrell was not wearing a seatbelt and died on the scene.

VSP said alcohol was a factor in the crash.
