CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – The holiday season is just around the corner, and 10 News is excited to be a part of the Salvation Army’s 2022 Angel Tree campaign.

The Salvation Army NRV announced that from Tuesday, Oct. 19 to Tuesday, Oct. 25, Angel Tree registration is open for teens ages 14 to 16.
The registration will take place in person by appointment only at the Salvation Army of the NRV, the organization said.
Below are the eligibility requirements for the program, according to the Salvation Army:
- A valid license or ID that lists your current address, or if those do not have your address listed, bring documentation that does,
- Birth certificates for all children 14 to 16 years old,
- If you are not a parent, bring legal documents for custody verification,
- Bring an updated award letter, which could include food stamps, SSI, Medicaid, or TANF,
- Bring two most recent pay stubs and a list of all household expenses,
- Come with your children’s clothing sizes and three gift wishes from each of them.
