This awesome golden retriever loves hanging out on the roof

DETROIT – Meet Huckleberry - a golden retriever from Texas who, despite your concern, loves hanging out on his owner's roof.

Sarafina Nance noticed the dog on the roof while walking her dog, and snapped some photos.

“I was on a walk with my puppy, and we were a couple blocks away from my apartment, and my puppy kept pulling on the leash and looking up,” Nance told ABC News. “And I finally looked up, and I saw this dog looking down on me from this roof.”

She says at first she was concerned, but then she noticed the sign on the door from the dog's owners, which read:

“We appreciate your concern, but please do not knock on the door … We know he’s up there! But please feel free to take pictures of him and share with the world! #hucktheroofdog”

The owners told ABC News that Huck gets to the roof pretty easily.

"There is about a 2 1/2 to 3 foot clearance between a hill in our backyard and the roof over our house," Burnitt explained. "We wondered when he would figure it out. It took him about six months to figure out the roof was an extension of his backyard. He now goes up every single time we let him outside."
