A weekend on the green is turning into something much bigger than golf. On May 2, Aaron’s Mission is teeing up a tournament to support missionaries and keep one young man’s passion alive.

The annual golf fundraiser continues to benefit local student-athletes.

The first annual Aaron’s Mission Golf Tournament in Roanoke will honor the legacy of Aaron Dean while raising funds to support global missionary efforts.

"It's just paying it forward," said Salem head football coach Don Holter.

The golf fundraiser helps all Salem Spartans student-athletes.
