Director Lee Danielsā āThe United States vs. Billie Holiday,ā starring Andra Day as the jazz singer, was named best picture, while the Korean American family drama āMinariā got best intergenerational film.
āWe focus on films made by and for grownups,ā said Tim Appelo, the film and television critic for AARP.
Catherine OāHara took best actress for āSchittās Creek,ā Mark Ruffalo got best actor for āI Know This Much is Trueā and āThis Is Usā was named best series.
