If you have last minute shopping to do today it will be nice outside. The only thing that may be an annoyance is a stray wind gust.
High temperatures reach the mid 40s across the Blue Ridge while areas in the Piedmont get up to 50!
Santa comes to town tonight and his trip will feature great weather! Mostly clear skies with cooling temperatures into the low and mid 30s.
Christmas morning will be cold, but not unbearable. We warm up hour by hour through the holiday.
It is also the first day of Hanukkah tomorrow! Partly to mostly cloudy skies build in for the day.
The setup across the Gulf Coast continues to pump moisture into the south and southeast. This will happen for the rest of the week as the upper level system track remains nearby.
An area of low pressure developing off the Rockies will push south and eventually east into the mid-Atlantic. This will bring rain chances this upcoming weekend.
