A strong cold front that passed through yesterday caused a rainy Easter morning. Now we are seeing the colder air really set into the region this morning; hourly temperatures will reach into the 60s later on in the day. Sunshine will make it feel a bit warmer than the actual air temperature.

Southwest and Central Virginia wake up to unusually mild February temperatures as rain tapers off, but ongoing drought remains a concern. Next chance for meaningful rainfall expected Sunday.
