Roanoke Valley and Southwest Virginia are in for rapid temperature changes this week, with a brief warm spell followed by a sharp cool down and increasing rain chances for Valentine’s Day weekend.

Yesterday's cold front brought frigid temperatures and some moisture to aid in rain showers and occasional snowfall. Looking ahead into tomorrow, another cold front will pass through and bring more cold air to begin the week.
