A reconfigured Commanders offense led by quarterback Marcus Mariota has produced 201 yards on the ground, 174 in the first half alone, to help Washington beat the Las Vegas Raiders 41-24. Mariota filled in for an injured Jayden Daniels, making his first NFL start since 2022 with Atlanta. He went 15 for 21 for 207 yards through the air and ran six times for 40 yards, including a 2-yard TD. Washington scored via a 43-yard TD pass by Mariota, a 60-yard run by Jeremy McNichols, a 1-yard plunge by Jacory โBillโ Croskey-Merritt and a 90-yard punt return by Jaylin Lane. Raiders QB Geno Smith threw three TD passes to Tre Tucker and was sacked five times.
